book design
We offer both book layout and cover design.

text scanning (optical character recognition – OCR)
Whereby hard copy is converted to word processing files. This is useful when books are being re-published and the previous version is no longer available as a digital file. We can supply the book in any file-type or platform that you or your author may require. As well as scanning, we proof and correct the files so that you receive virtually error-free copy.

page layout
We can perform the entire book production process from receipt of manuscript to provision of final digitised files.

typesetting
Including equations – to Windows or Mac files.

book illustration
Mathematical diagrams, technical illustrations, maps, graphs, and freehand drawings in full colour.

print-on-demand
For relatively small book-runs we provide a print-on-demand service. This is particularly attractive to self-publishing authors and to publishers who wish to print-to-order, as it avoids both the necessity of spending substantial amounts on pre-sale print runs as well as the need to store large numbers of unsold books.
